Pharmacy Technician

What You'll Do in This Role

You'll work onsite at our Colorado Springs, CO pharmacy, supporting patient safety and quality care every day. This isn't a remote or hybrid gig; it's hands on work in a hospital pharmacy. Your primary focus is making sure the right medications are available when and where they're needed. That means managing Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) so each unit has the meds its patients require. You'll also do sterile and non sterile compounding and repackage bulk medications, always following safety and regulatory standards to the letter. A big part of the job is running regular audits on medication inventory, spotting anything expired or about to expire, and getting it swapped out fast.

This is a PRN position, meaning you pick up shifts flexibly. Your schedule bumps around based on what's needed. The pay range is $22.14 to $28.78 per hour, depending on your experience. You'll also help mentor newer folks in healthcare, sharing what you know and modeling good practice.

What You Need to Bring

• A high school diploma or GED is the minimum.
• You must hold a Pharmacy Technician certification from the Colorado Board of Pharmacy (PHAT).
• You also need a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or an equivalent certification.
• No set number of years of experience is required; this role is open to candidates who meet the certification and education requirements.
