Here's the deal on this OR RN position at UCHealth in Colorado Springs, CO. It's a full time, dayshift role in the main hospital's operating room. You're onsite for this one; there isn't a remote or hybrid option.

The Work

You'll be providing direct patient care across the perioperative spectrum, which includes the OR and PACU. The focus is on top of scope nursing practice, using evidence based models that follow AORN and ABPANC standards.

It's about valuing a team approach to get the best outcomes and keeping safety and quality front and center at the point of care. You'll also help guide new staff through precepting. The clinical environment here is fast paced and innovative; they welcome new knowledge and expect you to grow into it. Clinical Educators are there to support individualized training during your orientation.

What You Need to Bring

• A diploma from an accredited or state board approved Registered/Professional Nursing program is required. A BSN is preferred.
• You must have an active Colorado RN license.
• They're looking for at least 6 months of experience as an RN in the Operating Room. If you don't have that, completing the UCHealth Fellowship program will also meet the requirement.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or CPR for the Professional Rescuer from the American Red Cross is mandatory. You need to have the physical card in hand before your start date, and it must be valid for at least your first sixty days of employment.

Schedule & Pay

This is a full time position working 80 hours per two week pay period on day shifts. The pay range is $38.91 to $60.31 per hour. Where you land in that range depends directly on your relevant experience.
