
About This Role
Here's the deal. We need a Labor & Delivery RN at UCHealth Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs, CO. This is where you come in.
The Role
You're providing direct patient care for women and infants, using the nursing process to guide your practice. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on exceptional outcomes, prioritizing wellness and evidence based care. It's about top of scope practice.
You'll help model that proficiency by precepting new staff. And you have to be ready for a clinical environment that's fast paced and innovative; new knowledge is always welcome here. A big part of the job is contributing to safety and quality right at the point of care.
The schedule is nights, part time at 48 hours per two week pay period. This position is onsite; there isn't a hybrid or remote option.
What You Need to Bring
- A state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- If you have less than three years of experience, you need to be a graduate of an accredited or state board approved nursing program.
- At least six months of Women and Infants nursing experience as an RN. Completing the UCHealth Fellowship program also meets this requirement.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. You must have the card in hand before your start date, and it needs to be valid for at least sixty days after hire.
- You'll need ACLS within six months of hire.
- NRP certification before you finish orientation, which means within six months.
- C EFM certification within one year of hire.
The Pay & The Perks
The pay range is $35.29 to $54.71 an hour. What you actually get depends on your relevant experience.
