About the Job

Belvoir Pet Hospital in Cleveland, OH needs a Veterinary Assistant. It's a full time spot, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.

You'd be the right hand to our techs and doctors. That means you're handling and restraining pets for exams, vaccines, and blood draws. You'll also keep the place running by cleaning exam rooms and treatment areas, making sure everything's ready to go before we need it.

Think of it as a foundational role. If you've got some experience under your belt and want to build a real career in vet med, this is an excellent place to do it.

What You'll Be Doing

• Gentle animal handling and restraint for outpatient procedures.
• Preparing and cleaning patient areas like exam rooms throughout the day.
• Anticipating what the team needs to stay efficient.
• Assisting Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians with procedure setup.

The Stuff You Need

• A minimum of two years working in a veterinary clinic.
• You should be proficient with radiology, setting up for procedures, collecting samples, and talking with clients.
• We're a busy, multi doctor practice. Being able to multitask efficiently is non negotiable.
• A genuine interest in a supportive, team oriented role. We all back each other up here.

We're an AAHA accredited hospital focused on high quality medicine for small animals. Our services run from basic wellness all the way to advanced surgery and dentistry.

The team includes numerous CVTs, a proactive Hospital Manager, and great support staff. We've got excellent medical tech and have been serving some families for generations. Our location is off Mayfield Road, about nine miles from downtown Cleveland.

Pay & Benefits

The pay range is $16 to $18 per hour for each hour worked.Specific pay considers your education, training, experience related to the job, geographic location where work is performed, and other relevant factors.

A $500 bonus package is available if you have 3 or more years of consecutive, current experience.
