About This Role
The Role
This is a leadership position for someone who's been in the trenches of healthcare sales ; specifically home health or hospice ; and is ready to manage a multi territory operation. You'll direct the whole sales operation across assigned territories: building pipelines, keeping referral relationships strong, and making sure performance hits the mark. The person in this role doesn't just manage numbers; they build teams.
You'll coach and mentor regional sales teams to push past growth goals for admissions, census, and revenue. That means designing market specific strategies using data and industry trends to spot where the next opportunity is hiding. And you'll be the one out there fostering referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other healthcare organizations. You'll also help recruit, onboard, and train business development staff so they come in with solid sales techniques from day one.
Collaboration matters here ; you'll work with clinical and operational leaders to make sure sales strategies align with patient care goals and what the operation can actually handle. You'll track team KPIs, sales funnel health, market share, and territory performance. And you'll represent the organization at community, industry, and networking events to build brand visibility and trust. Compliance is non negotiable: all sales and marketing activities must follow company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
