About This Role

Cherry Grove Animal Hospital in Cincinnati, OH is one of those places. Most of their support team has been there more than eight years. They're looking to add an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician who's ready to really use their skills.

What You'll Be Doing

This isn't just a job where you follow a script. You'll be central to patient care, especially during surgeries and dental procedures. That means monitoring anesthesia, prepping patients, managing recovery, and performing dental cleanings and radiographs.

You're also a key link with our clients. You'll keep exam rooms moving smoothly, review treatment plans with pet owners, and give clear discharge instructions. A big part of the role is answering questions with empathy so clients feel informed and supported.

You'll collaborate closely with the veterinarians and your teammates on outpatient visits to make sure every patient gets consistent, high quality care.

The Schedule & What We're Offering

This is a full time position. We need someone available to work Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and rotating Saturdays.

The pay range is $25 to $26 per hour. The final rate depends on your specific education, training, experience related to this role, and geographic location.

The Skills & Experience You Bring

We need someone who's been in the trenches of a clinical setting. You should have at least three years of hands on veterinary experience under your belt.

A current Veterinary Technician License in Ohio is required; we need you registered and ready to go.

You need to be proficient in a few core areas: drawing blood (phlebotomy), setting up for surgery and assisting during procedures, taking x rays (radiology), managing inpatient care throughout the day, and collecting various lab samples. If you're confident in these skills, we should talk.
