The Job

Cherry Grove Animal Hospital needs a small animal veterinarian. We’ve been around for over 40 years, and we’re looking for someone to join the team Dr. Justin Calhoun leads.

This is a full time spot. We do the whole range of general practice: preventive care, dentistry, and surgery. You might be doing spays and neuters one day, soft tissue procedures the next, or focusing on appointments. It's a mix.

Dr. Calhoun is a fantastic mentor, especially if you want to grow your clinical and surgical skills. That makes this a solid fit whether you're fresh out of school or have some years under your belt.

What You'll Do Here

• Practice quality small animal medicine with a personal touch.
• Perform surgeries including spays/neuters and soft tissue procedures.
• Handle dental work and preventive care appointments.
• Work in our full service hospital with modern tools and technology.
• Build relationships with our established, loyal clientele.
• Be part of a collaborative team where your ideas matter.

The Kind of Person We Need

A DVM/VMD or equivalent degree is required. You should have an interest in small animal medicine.

Experience level isn't a barrier; new graduates are actively encouraged to apply. What matters more is that you're team oriented and genuinely want to connect with clients and the community. Passion goes a long way here.

Schedule & Pay

The position is full time. We're committed to working with you to create a schedule that supports your work life balance.

The compensation includes a competitive base salary plus quarterly production bonuses; there's no negative accrual on that production pay.
