What you'd be doing

You're the face of the place. That means greeting people like you're actually glad to see them, not just going through the motions. You'll need to know the menu well enough to talk up the specials with some confidence.

• Take orders and get them into our system.
• Run food out, then check back to make sure everything's good.
• Keep your section tidy by pre bussing and bussing tables yourself.
• Handle payments; cash, cards, checks; accurately.
• Saying a real thank you and inviting folks back is part of the job.
• You'll be checking IDs and following all the rules for serving alcohol responsibly.
• Lend a hand to other servers or managers when it gets busy. It's a group effort.
