About This Role
You're the first hello and the last goodbye for everyone who walks through our doors. That's a big deal. We need someone who gets that, who wants to set the tone for a great visit and send people home smiling.
What you'll do here
It's all about the guest experience, from start to finish. You're running the front of the house.
- Welcome people when they arrive and let them know about any specials or events we've got going on.
- Keep track of the waitlist, seat guests, and help clear tables.
- When folks leave, thank them and invite them back.
- Answer the phone and put carry out orders into our system.
- You'll handle money, make sure orders are right, and suggest add ons.
- Pitch in to help servers and managers anywhere in the dining room.
What we're looking for
A good attitude is non negotiable. The rest we can work with.
- You need reliable transportation to get here.
- The schedule changes; you've got to be available for various shifts.
- Show up in your proper uniform, ready to go.
- Be flexible when things get busy or plans change.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States.
The deal
We'll teach you what you need to know and give you straight feedback. You bring the effort and a willingness to learn. And honestly? We want you to be yourself and have some fun doing this job. It's supposed to be enjoyable.
Perks & benefits
- The schedule has some flexibility.
- Meal discounts and clothing discounts for you.
- A free birthday meal for you and your family is on us.
- Holiday pay for eligible hours worked.
- A rewards program and a referral program if you bring good people with you.
- A path to grow your career here if that's what you want.
- Healthcare and prescription options are available if you're eligible.
Here's a nice starter: new front of house folks who average at least 25 hours a week will get a $250 signing bonus after their first 30 days. It'll show up on your regular paycheck once you hit that mark.
