School Nurse – Elementary

Epic Special Education Staffing is working with a school district in Chicago, IL that needs a contract Registered Nurse for the 2025–2026 school year. This is an on site, full time role working with elementary grade students.

• Start date: ASAP
• End date: April 30, 2026
• Hours per week: 35.00
• Weekly pay range: $40.50 – $46.58 per hour on a local contract

$2,000 Completion Bonus & Referral Bonuses

A $2,000 completion bonus is offered to eligible clinicians and educators who commit to and finish their full school year assignment ; that means working 30+ hours per week through the end of the contract. You can also earn up to $3,000 in referral bonuses along the way.

What you need to qualify

• At least one year of verifiable professional experience as an RN – School Nurse within the last three years; this may include residency or clinical practicum.
• A valid RN – School Nurse credential or license in the state of practice ; or have it in process.
• You must be legally authorized to work in the United States (proof will be requested upon hire). We cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
