About This Role

What you'll actually do

This is a hybrid role. You'll be onsite in Rosemont, IL three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) and work virtually Monday and Friday.

You'll partner with Product Development and other key stakeholders. You will create and manage comprehensive Scoop program plans, oversee workstreams, and communicate key decisions and risks to the right people. You'll define the program roadmap, organize workstreams and milestones, and generate buy in across the organization.

  • Coordinate with Category Management, Product Development, Insight & Analytics, Replenishment, and Field Leads to drive collection of forecast requirements for new products
  • Create and share guiding templates like forecast templates, rollout books, and production planning documents
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for cross functional teams and Markets whenever questions come up
  • Collaborate with Commercialization Managers, Sr. Activation Managers, and Replenishment to spot inventory issues and develop plans to mitigate those risks
  • Handle Field Training Coordination through content planning and production support
  • Identify and push process improvements to reduce current and potential program risks
  • Gather ongoing feedback on rollouts from the field
  • Direct and guide stakeholders in developing selling and training materials alongside Category Management and Training functions
  • Serve as the Scoop SME through regular and impromptu communications to cross functional teams, field teams, and leadership
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager

Supervision and relationships

You won't have direct supervision responsibilities. But you will indirectly manage the work efforts of the product team: you'll give specific and balanced feedback, coach team members with input from stakeholders, and provide performance input to direct supervisors.

Internally, you'll interact with Product Development, Marketing, Merchandising, Category Management, Replenishment, and Leadership. Externally, you'll work with consultants and suppliers.

What you need to bring

Education and training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Operations, or a related field is required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in program or project management
  • Strong communication skills and experience influencing peers and senior leaders
  • A proven history of prioritizing and deploying strategic initiatives
  • Food industry experience is preferred

Skills and abilities:

  • A strong sense of forward looking vision, clear judgment in managing risk, and the ability to drive deliverables while staying flexible in an agile environment
  • Proven success creatively solving problems and refining processes to add program scale
  • Self directed and highly motivated
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, plus solid presentation skills
  • Capable of influencing project stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical capability
  • Solid business acumen and sales orientation
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required
