What You'll Do as a Customer Service Agent

You're the person passengers remember when their trip goes smoothly. And when things get complicated, you're the one they count on. You'll handle the whole passenger experience from start to finish. That includes reservations and ticketing, boarding pass issuance, and baggage processing. If a flight gets canceled or delayed, you'll rebook passengers and help them figure out next steps. You'll operate the jet way, make public address announcements, and direct people through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine.

You'll also assist passengers with special needs ; unaccompanied minors, VIPs, anyone who needs wheelchair support. You'll work with the ramp team to make sure wheelchairs, strollers, and gate checked bags get loaded before departure and returned to passengers on arrival. Every piece of documentation needs to be accurate, and you'll keep up with all federal, state, municipal, and carrier security requirements plus Swissport's own policies.

Who You Are

• You have a high school diploma or GED
• You genuinely care about customer service and have work experience to show for it
• You communicate clearly, both in writing and out loud, in the country's primary language
• Speaking other languages is a bonus
• You're self motivated and can work alone
• You pay close attention to details and you're comfortable with numbers
• You follow procedures and can also pivot when the situation demands it
• You can type and learn airline specific reservation and ticketing software
• You're ready to work in any weather ; rain, snow, heat, you name it

Pay and Benefits

The expected pay rate is $19.10 per hour. Full time employees get a solid set of benefits: health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance. There's life insurance too.
