About This Role

What You'll Actually Do

This is a sales hunter role, plain and simple. You're not here to shuffle paper. You're here to grow referral relationships in your assigned market, Chicago, IL, and connect patients with the care they need. That means being out in the field, building real connections with hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

You'll promote skilled home health services covered under Medicare and Medicaid: Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Home Health Aide, and Medical Social Worker. Think of it as bridging the gap between people who need care and the people who can provide it.

  • Develop strong referral relationships across hospitals, outpatient providers, and other healthcare settings
  • Create and execute a targeted plan to boost census and build the company's reputation as the leading homecare provider in the community
  • Collaborate with Executive Directors and Directors of Clinical Services to find business development opportunities and coordinate education meetings
  • Work both in the field and from local branches ; this isn't a desk job
  • Provide weekly activity and results reporting to the Health Partnership Director and Executive Directors
  • Meet and exceed monthly referral and admission goals
  • Rotate for weekend marketing duties as needed

What You Need to Bring

We're looking for someone with grit, not just a degree. A bachelor's in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is nice but not required. What matters more is your track record.

  • At least two years of home care sales or community education experience (in home care experience is a plus, not a must)
  • You've used business prospecting software and can spot opportunities to target specific accounts for growth
  • You can juggle multiple lines of business without dropping the ball
  • You've proven you can grow census and build professional relationships
  • Your communication and interpersonal skills are sharp ; you're comfortable talking to anyone
  • A valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range here is $90,000 to $100,000 annually, plus performance based commissions. It's a real incentive structure, not just fluff.
