Registered Nurse

Hey there. I've been recruiting nurses for over a decade, and I'm writing this post myself. Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN needs a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for their nursing team. It's a leadership role on the floor, and they're offering a sign on bonus if you qualify.

What You'd Be Doing

You're the go to person on your shift for making sure care runs smoothly and meets our standards. You'll coordinate everything happening in the unit.

• Help manage patient admissions and discharges to keep things moving efficiently without sacrificing care quality.
• Work with the management team to continually assess and improve the patient care services on your unit.
• Build that teamwork environment with staff and other managers; it's how we get better outcomes.
• You're supporting a patient first philosophy every day. Sometimes that means stepping in for service recovery.
• Put current nursing initiatives into practice, like employee rounding and hourly patient rounds, to boost engagement.
• Have input on bringing new people onto the team; interviewing, selecting, and training.
• Recommend actions on staff development, conflict resolution, policy issues, performance reviews, or disciplinary steps when needed.
• The schedule is part of your world; you'll assist with staff scheduling.
• Manage staff labor based on what patients need and within set productivity guidelines.
• Keep an eye on supplies and equipment, helping manage inventory control.

The Specifics You Need

A few non negotiables here. And one strong preference from them.

• You must be a Registered Nurse.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred; they really want someone working toward or holding that BSN.
• You need to obtain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting the job if you don't have it already.
