Radiology Technologist

Trusted Health·Charlotte, NC

About This Role

Alright, let's talk about this travel Rad Tech position in Charlotte, NC. I've been placing folks for over a decade, and I'll give it to you straight; no fluff, just the facts you need to know if this gig lines up with your life.

The Work & The Schedule

This is a 13 week travel contract starting April 20, 2026. You're working evenings, Sunday through Thursday. Your shift runs from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

You'll be on for five of those 8 hour shifts each week. There's no on call requirement.

The facility has three minor holidays during this contract period: the day after Thanksgiving (11/26/2026), Christmas Eve (12/25/2026), and New Year's Eve (01/01/2027). You're expected to work one of those three; you can take the other two off.

What You Need to Bring

First off, this is strictly a travel role. They won't accept local candidates. To be submitted, your permanent address needs to be more than 50 miles from the facility.

  • You must have 24 months of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist.
  • Within the last 12 months, at least 3 months of that experience needs to be hands on work.
  • And here's a big one: you need to have been working continuously in this specialty for the past two years. No breaks in employment longer than 30 consecutive days.
  • A current driver's license is required just to submit your profile.

For credentials, you'll need your BLS (Basic Life Support) and your (R) - Registered Technologist in Radiography. Have those certs ready to upload.

A couple of specific program rules: if you've worked at the "HWL Program - Northside Hospital" before, you need a full 24 month gap since that assignment ended. They also can't place anyone who's currently working there now.

The Process & The Details

A Skills Checklist and professional references are part of the application. Get those lined up.

Regarding COVID 19 vaccination: it's required after you're submitted for the job. They do accept religious and medical declinations with proper documentation.

Be prepared that some pre employment learning modules might be part of your onboarding. Pro tip: uploading all your certifications and health documents to your profile upfront really speeds things along once an offer is made.
