US Foods in Charlotte, NC is hiring Night Warehouse Selectors. You'll start at $20.43 an hour plus Incentive Pay. This isn't a desk job, and it isn't for everyone. But if you want a place where your effort gets noticed and rewarded, this might be it.

The work is straightforward: you're preparing customer orders. Every shift means moving product, keeping orders exact and damage free, and making safety the priority. It's physical work, and that's the point. As a Selector, you're the foundation of what we do.

What You'll Actually Do

• Read and follow English language labels, training materials, and safety coaching.
• Operate a motorized pallet jack or similar equipment (experience helps, but training is provided).
• Lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ pound cases repeatedly. You'll move well over 1,000 cases per shift.
• Work in a multi temperature environment ; sometimes as cold as -5 degrees, sometimes over 100 degrees.
• Work Sunday through Thursday night shifts of 8+ hours, with occasional weekend and holiday work required.
• Enter information on reports as needed.
• Build trusting relationships with your teammates. Integrity and reliability matter here.

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of warehouse experience, but you do need the right mindset. High endurance work is the name of the game, and recent experience within the past 6 months in something physically intense is preferred. That could mean lifting or transferring patients, sports training or fitness work, farming, construction, or a similar high activity role.

Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. So is experience with a motorized pallet jack. And you need to be comfortable reading and communicating in English ; for safety talks, training sessions, labels, and coaching.

Pay & Benefits

The base rate for this role ranges from $19.83 to $34.00 an hour, depending on experience, skills, and location. You'll also get overtime, incentive pay based on productivity and quality, and a freezer premium when working in cold temps.
