HVAC Technician (Residential)

The Gist

Brothers Heating, Cooling & Plumbing in Charlotte, NC is looking for experienced HVAC Installers and Lead Installers. This is full time, year round work installing residential heating and air conditioning systems. Think furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, complete system swaps.

What You'd Do

• Rip out old HVAC systems ; furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners ; and put in new ones.
• Install complete residential systems per manufacturer specs and local codes.
• Lead the installs yourself, with a helper assigned to you.
• Start up each system, test it, troubleshoot anything that's off.
• Make sure every install passes inspection and meets quality and safety standards.
• Keep the job site clean. Treat every home like you'd want yours treated.

What You Need

• At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience under your belt.
• A solid track record installing heating and cooling systems on homes.
• Comfort leading an install with a helper backing you up.
• A working understanding of HVAC inspection codes in Charlotte, NC.
• EPA Certification (or you're willing to get it).
• The ability to lift HVAC equipment and get into attics or crawlspaces without issues.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• A clean background check and drug screen are required before starting.

Pay & Schedule

The pay range here is $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Based on performance, you can earn over $100K in a year. It's full time work that stays steady through all seasons. Your exact schedule will come up during the interview process.
