The Role

Aramark is looking for a Resident District Manager to lead a large scale facilities management account in Charlotte, NC. This is the top on site leadership position. You'll own everything: the financials, the operations, the strategy. The client is Charlotte and all of Mecklenburg County, so this role covers a big footprint.

You're not just managing day to day work. You're running the account like your own business. That means balancing great service with tight financial discipline. If you've done that before at scale, this might be your next move.

What You'll Actually Do

Run every piece of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM). That includes HVAC and mechanical systems, electrical and plumbing infrastructure, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, custodial and sanitation services, grounds and landscaping, exterior maintenance, plus energy management and building systems optimization.

Own the full P&L. Revenue, cost management, labor strategy, margin performance ; it's all yours. You'll build annual operating budgets and forecasts tied directly to contract commitments. And you'll find ways to optimize costs across labor, materials, energy use, and vendor relationships.

Be the client's top partner. You lead regular business reviews focused on financial results and continuous improvement. Your job is aligning operations with their bigger goals: cost control, risk management, asset performance. Bring ideas around energy savings or sustainability initiatives too.

Build and lead the team. Operations managers, maintenance leaders, functional supervisors ; you set expectations around performance, safety, and accountability. Make sure staffing levels are right and skills match what's needed.

Keep everything safe and compliant. Full compliance with regulatory standards is non negotiable. Run audits and inspections. Lead incident response when things go wrong. Reduce operational risk across facilities, your workforce, and third party vendors.

The Person We're Looking For

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Facilities Management or Business or something related (preferred but not required if your experience speaks for itself)
  • Five plus years leading large multi service facilities management operations
  • A real record of managing full P&L responsibility in complex service environments
  • Strong financial chops ; budgets forecasts cost controls should feel natural to you
  • Experience leading integrated services across engineering maintenance AND custodial operations
  • A history of building high performing teams that actually deliver results
  • C suite communication skills because you're dealing with executives regularly

The Pay Range & Benefits

The total compensation for this position falls between $170800 and $201300 annually.
