About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this one. I'm helping a top tier luxury dealership in the Charlotte, NC area find their next Sales Manager. This isn't your average store; it's an award winning group with world class brands. They're growing fast and need a leader who gets what it means to operate at that level. The person who lands here will have a real chance to build something.
The Role
You'll run the sales floor. Your main job is to lead the team, but that means a lot of things. You're the one setting the tone for how business gets done.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to hit their targets for volume, profit, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Create a culture where accountability and professionalism are standard, and the customer always comes first.
- Set clear performance benchmarks for the team. You'll track progress and provide coaching to help everyone develop.
- Work directly with the General Sales Manager and executives. You'll collaborate on inventory planning, marketing plans, and sales forecasts.
- Make sure everything about the showroom experience matches the luxury brands on display.
- Oversee the entire deal process from the first customer greeting through desking, structuring deals, and finalizing everything.
- Recruit new sales talent and manage their onboarding to get them up to speed quickly.
What You Need to Bring
This role needs someone who's been in the arena before. You've got to know how a high end dealership runs from top to bottom.
- A proven track record as a Sales Manager in a high volume or luxury automotive environment is essential.
- Strong leadership presence. You know how to drive results through your team, not just by yourself.
- A deep understanding of modern dealership operations: the sales process, desking deals, working with F&I partners, and using CRM systems effectively.
- Impeccable interpersonal skills. Your communication and follow up need to be sharp at all times.
- A genuine passion for luxury vehicles is non negotiable; so is a commitment to delivering exceptional service every time.
- A high level of personal integrity, professionalism, and operational discipline is expected here.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required; you'll also need to pass our standard pre employment screening process.
