The Job

We're Unifi Aviation, LLC. We've been in the aviation services industry for decades. This is a part time Ramp Agent role based in Cedar Rapids, IA.

No experience is required. We provide paid training for all new employees.

What you'll do

Marshall arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
Perform wing walker duties during pushback and while de icing aircraft.
Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material into and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts.
Operate ramp equipment including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
Clean aircraft, restock supplies, and clean lavatories and cabins as needed during cabin service assignments.
Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
Report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in line with Unifi's Fair and Just Culture Policy.
Complete other related duties as assigned within your skill, experience, and capabilities.

What you need

High school diploma or GED.
At least 18 years old.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to obtain credentials required per airport, state, or customs requirements.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level needed to safely perform the job's essential functions, including understanding instructions, safety procedures, and operational communications.
In terms of physical demands: you'll frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds. You'll constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
You must be open to working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. This job also means working outside in weather that can include severe seasonal elements.

Schedule & pay

This is a part time position. The base pay rate is $18.16 per hour. Shifts available are A.M. and P.M. shifts, any day of the week Monday through Sunday.
