Let's talk about the job

This is a full time night shift position on the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit at East Liverpool City Hospital in Canton, OH. You'll work 12 hour shifts.

You're delivering care to adults and older patients. That means monitoring cardiac telemetry, giving meds and IV treatments, and keeping a close eye on any changes. When something shifts, you're communicating it to the doctors and the rest of the team right away. Part of the deal is supervising LPNs and support staff, teaching patients and their families, and making sure all your documentation in the electronic medical record is spot on.

And yeah, you need to be ready for emergencies. You'll initiate interventions following those BLS and ACLS protocols.

What you need to bring

• A current, valid RN license for the state.
• A current BLS certificate when you start, and you keep it current.
• Getting your ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire is preferred, and then you maintain it.
• Previous experience in an Acute Care hospital is a plus.
• If you've got ventilator management experience, that's also preferred.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not a must have.

New graduate RNs are absolutely encouraged to apply. There's a structured orientation and clinical support waiting for you.
