The Gig
This is a Registered Nurse Supervisor role for our Weekend Warrior Program at Ellicott Center, located in Buffalo, NY. The deal is simple: you commit to working every weekend, and you earn $50 an hour. There's also a $6,000 Sign On Bonus on top of that.
What You'll Actually Do
- Schedule and assign nursing staff to meet resident care requirements.
- Build a compassionate environment by supporting both residents and their families.
- Answer questions and handle requests from residents and staff throughout the day.
- Keep the workplace safe and clean by making sure everyone follows the rules and regulations.
- Protect resident confidentiality by monitoring how sensitive information is processed.
- Manage all documentation related to resident care services.
- Maintain strong, cooperative relationships across different health care teams.
What You Need to Bring
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license ; non negotiable.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in Long Term Care. That's required.
- The ability to act as a Team Director for all staff members ; someone positive who leads by example.
- Strong communication skills for dealing with residents, families, and coworkers alike.
- Basic computer skills; you don't need to be a tech wizard but you need to be comfortable with standard systems.
The Schedule & Pay Details
$50 per hour. A $6,000 Sign On Bonus. And with Daily Pay through a trusted third party provider, you get faster access to your earnings rather than waiting for a pay period to end. This role specifically requires commitment to every weekend shift.
