Let's talk about the job

At Wonder, we're trying to make great food something everyone can get. We bring menus from well known chefs right to your neighborhood. You'd be part of making that happen.

The pay is $17.50 an hour. If you work an overnight shift, there's an extra $2.00 added for any hours between midnight and 5:00 AM.

This is in Brooklyn, NY. We have both full time and part time schedules available.

How you can earn more

It's not just the base rate. There are ways to bump up your pay.

• If you become a Certified Team Member, that's an extra $0.50 per hour.
• If you step up into a Trainer role, that adds $1.50 per hour.

A look at your day

You won't be stuck doing one thing. You'll learn different roles and really see how your work matters.

• Making the food is central. You'll prepare menu items exactly to our specs, keeping your station clean and organized as you go.
• Food safety isn't optional here. You'll follow HACCP guidelines for temperatures and storage every single time.
• You'll handle inventory scans, pack orders with accurate portions, and double check everything before it goes out the door.
• A big part of this is hospitality. Greet people warmly, help them with orders or payments on the app, and answer questions about our food.
• The restaurant needs to look sharp. That means washing cookware, cleaning equipment, taking out trash properly, and letting someone know if something breaks.
• You're on a team. Support your coworkers, pitch in where it's busy, and keep the energy positive.

The stuff you need to bring

A few things are non negotiable for this role.

• You need at least six months in a fast kitchen or a job where you deal with customers directly.
• You have to work quickly but carefully; details matter when you're handling food and orders.
• A bit of basic food safety knowledge is important, along with being organized and able to follow instructions clearly.
• Physically, you must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for your entire shift.
• The law says you have to be 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• We need people who can work weekends; that availability is required for this position.
