About This Role
The Job
Gifted Healthcare needs a MedSurg RN in Bronx, NY. This one's for the day shift, three 12 hour shifts each week. You'll be caring for a real mix of patients, and you'll own their assessments from start to finish ; building a care plan that actually fits each person.
What You'll Actually Do
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during exams and treatments
- Administer and record prescribed medications, then adjust course when symptoms go sideways
- Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs when needed
- Execute individualized patient assessments to build personalized plans of care
- Initiate alternative action when adverse symptomology shows up ; you're trusted to think on your feet
What You Need to Bring
This role requires active RN licensure and BLS certification. At least one year of recent MedSurg experience is required. You should be comfortable working days on a 3x12 schedule.
