Social Worker

Hey there. I'm a recruiter, and I've got an opening for an Electrical Project Manager with a solid company in Boston, MA. They're growing, and they need someone who knows how to run low voltage electrical jobs from start to finish.

The Work

You'd be the one running the show on specific projects. That means you're building the plan, managing the budget and schedule, and making sure everything gets done right. You'll spend time on site, checking work against safety standards and electrical codes. A big part of this is talking with everyone involved; your crew, the client, contractors; to keep things moving and solve problems before they become issues. You're also the keeper of all the project paperwork; it needs to be accurate and up to date.

The projects you'd handle are in a few key areas: telecommunications, alarm systems, and hospital construction.

What You Need to Bring

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or something closely related.
• At least five years doing this exact job; managing electrical projects within construction.
• Hands on experience with projects in telecom, alarm systems, or hospitals is non negotiable. They need you to have seen these types of jobs before.
• You should know electrical systems inside and out, along with the relevant safety rules.
• Being good with project management software is expected.
• This isn't a desk only job. You have to be willing to travel to project sites when it's needed.

A PMP certification would be a nice bonus, but it's not a dealbreaker if you don't have it.

The Details

This is a full time, permanent position based on site in Boston, MA. The salary range is $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
