Data Scientist

What this role is all about

This is a Data Scientist role at Year Up United in Boston, MA. But it's not a standard job. You're applying for a one year (or less) intensive job training program that combines classroom learning with real work experience. The program is built for young adults who want to launch a professional career fast.

You'll get in classroom skill development, access to internships and job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship. You'll also earn an educational stipend. If you land an internship, it could be at Harvard University, Wayfair, Salesforce, or Wellington Management ; plus other leading organizations in the Greater Boston area. YUPRO Placement handles the job placement support.

And yes, you get paid during the internship part. Students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.

Who's eligible

You can apply if you meet these criteria:

• A high school graduate or GED recipient
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday through Friday for the whole program
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
• You have not obtained a Bachelor's degree
