About This Role

Hometown Animal Clinic in Boise, ID is looking for a veterinarian. We're a team that cares about doing good work and supporting each other, and we need another doctor to help us do it.

What you'll do here

The day to day is what you'd expect: seeing appointments, doing surgeries, diagnosing, and creating treatment plans. The important part is how we do it. You'll work with an experienced team where collaboration is the norm, not the exception. We're focused on providing high quality medicine with genuine compassion for every pet and owner who walks in.

We also believe in growing your skills. That means dedicated time for learning and professional development as part of your role.

Who we're hoping to find

We're open to vets at any stage of their career. New graduates are absolutely encouraged to apply.

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited school.
  • A current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Idaho, or the ability to obtain one.

If you're early in your career, this is a great spot for you. We have a structured mentorship program designed specifically to support newer veterinarians.

Schedule & location

The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to noon. Your schedule within those hours will be flexible.
