About This Role

The Role

This is a sales job for Securitas Technology. You'll be working from a home office in the Boise, ID area, but you won't be stuck there. The core of this role is lead generation and building relationships with national and large regional companies.

Your main task is to set appointments and present our commercial electronic security products and services. Think access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection; the whole integrated security ecosystem. We've got a team of designers who handle the technical system plans, so you can focus on selling.

What You'll Do

  • Hunt for new business and build market share.
  • Generate your own leads through cold calling and networking.
  • Manage extensive travel within your assigned territory.
  • Develop and negotiate comprehensive service and outsourcing strategies for clients.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with key accounts.

What You Need to Bring

A few things are non negotiable here. You need a solid background in this specific field.

  • A minimum of five years selling commercial electronic security solutions.
  • Another five years of hitting or exceeding high sales quotas in similar markets or account types.
  • Proven experience with consultative service solution sales.
  • A track record that shows you're good at cold calling, networking, and generating your own leads.
  • You have to be organized. This job demands it.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills are essential.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not an absolute requirement if your experience speaks for itself. And you must be available for that significant travel we mentioned; it comes with the territory.

The Package
