What You'll Actually Do

You're the clinical backbone for a group of residents. That means assessments, diagnoses, identifying outcomes, planning care, implementing it, then evaluating how treatments worked. You'll also handle quality assurance and performance improvement stuff.

Supervision is a big part of this ; you'll oversee several talented staff members day to day. And you'll build real relationships with residents, their families, and the rest of the healthcare team. It's not just tasks; it's people.

What You Need

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree is preferred)
• A current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where you're practicing ; required
• A working knowledge of long term care
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross ; required
• Current First Aid certification ; required (or willing to get it)
• At least 6 months of experience working as an RN (preferred)
• Experience or continuing education in caring for older adults (preferred)
• You need to keep it courteous and professional with everyone you deal with
• A resident focused approach to solving problems and setting goals
• Basic computer skills ; or you're willing to learn them on the job
