About This Role

The Role

This is a full time, onsite Breakfast Prep Cook gig with Cura Hospitality. You'll be working at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA, handling high volume breakfast production for retail, patients, and catering. We're serving several hundred customers daily in a healthcare setting, so it's steady and fast. The schedule runs 2:30am to 11:00am with rotating weekends.

What you'll actually do

  • Cook breakfast in large batches ; eggs, breakfast meats, griddle items, hot cereals, and sides
  • Follow standardized recipes, production sheets, and portion control guidelines
  • Keep food quality, temperature, and presentation on point
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies
  • Help with receiving, stocking, and rotating products using FIFO
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work alongside culinary leadership and the production team to hit daily volume goals

What you need

Must haves:

  • Prior experience in high volume food production
  • Breakfast or griddle experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work early morning hours consistently
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable attendance and strong time management skills

Nice to haves:

  • Healthcare or institutional foodservice experience

Pay & benefits

Compensation ranges from $13.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on experience. Full time benefits include:
