This Mechatronics Technician role is for someone who thrives on making things work. Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults in automated equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to technical schedules to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC ladder logic.
- Calibrate sensors, actuators, and vision systems to ensure precision.
- Document all repairs, parts used, and machine performance data accurately.
- Collaborate with operators and engineers to implement minor upgrades or modifications.
Requirements
- A solid grasp of AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and basic programming logic.
- Hands on experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic software.
- You've probably spent at least two years fixing industrial equipment on a shop floor.
- A technical degree or certification in mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
- The job involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally working in tight spaces.
