Accountant

All Star Automotive is part of Hudson Automotive Group, and our accounting department needs another person. We're growing fast, which means there's plenty to do and a real chance to build a career here.

What you'd be doing

You'd handle the core tasks that keep our books straight. It's detailed work where your accuracy directly impacts the team.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and post checks.
• Reconcile statements and ledgers, making sure payments line up with our schedules.
• Work with the title clerk on the list for all purchased vehicles.
• Manage vendor relationships and take a close look at vendor accounts.
• Team up with the accounting staff to reconcile bank balances and help with the monthly closing process.

The background that fits

A lot of this comes down to specific experience. If you've done this in a dealership before, that's a major plus for us.

• Experience in automotive dealership accounting is preferred.
• A solid track record with AP, AR, check runs, and reconciliations is essential.
• You're someone who follows processes but also knows how to collaborate. A good attitude isn't just a nice to have; it's how we get things done together.
