About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this nursing supervisor spot on the 3 11 shift at Hammonds Lane Center in Baltimore, MD. It's a full time gig, and honestly, it’s one of those roles where you're the go to person when the DON isn't on the floor. You're not just passing meds; you're running the show for your shift, making sure everything clicks.
What you'd be doing
You’d be backing up the Director of Nursing, making sure the care we deliver is solid, effective, and leads to good outcomes for our residents. It's about keeping things smooth for patients, their families, and your team.
- You’re in charge of the clinical ops on your units for that shift. That means everyone’s following policy, procedure, and regulations.
- A big part of it is implementing our care model. You'll mentor your staff and be the main point of contact with other departments to coordinate.
- Work with the DON to make sure we have enough nurses on staff to provide safe care around the clock. We really focus on minimizing overtime and using agency staff.
- You’ll also have a hand in recruiting new folks, helping with orientation for new hires, and you can give input on promotions, transfers, or terminations.
The basics you need
- Your diploma has to be from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university. A BSN is preferred but not a deal breaker.
- You must have a current Registered Nurse license from the state board.
The schedule & pay
This is for the evening shift: 3 PM to 11 PM, full time. The posted base pay range is $41.00 to $45.00 per hour.
