What You'll Be Doing

This is a Pre Journeyman Plumbing Service Technician role with Constellation Energy in Baltimore, MD. You're not just fixing pipes; you're the person customers call when something goes wrong. You'll install and modify plumbing equipment, making sure everything meets local city or county codes. Steam boilers are part of the mix too, though you'll start with minimal service on those under supervision.

Your day to day work includes repairing or replacing faucets, toilets, domestic water lines, and drain lines. You'll modify and fabricate pipe fittings as needed for each installation. When you spot electrical, plumbing, or safety problems during an install, it's on you to take corrective action. And yeah, there's some clerical work too ; completing the paperwork that wraps up each service request.

What You Need to Bring

• A current Apprentice License that you've held for at least 4 years
• 7,500 hours of training completed under a licensed master plumber's direction
• Advanced knowledge of the tools and materials specific to plumbing service work
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics at an advanced level
• Advanced skill using sewer cleaning machines
• Strong customer relations skills ; you'll be working in people's homes
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Sales skills at an advanced level ; you're expected to recommend and promote all services the company offers
• A willingness to work weekends and overtime when needed
• A valid driver's license and eligibility to meet Company driving standards

The Schedule & Pay

The expected salary range for this position is $28.02 to $34.25 per hour. Exactly where you land depends on your experience.
