The Role
This is a Qualification Validation Engineer position with a well known organization in the pharmaceutical and regulated industry sector. You'll be working within the Quality Assurance department, focused on equipment qualification and validation processes. The core of the work is making sure equipment and systems meet all the necessary standards before they're used in production.
What You'll Actually Do
- Carry out equipment and HVAC qualification activities, following company SOPs and site requirements.
- Document installation processes, covering utility connections, environmental conditions, and component verification.
- Write up and approve IQ and OQ protocols to make sure equipment operates as designed.
- Run tests to verify equipment functions correctly under normal operating conditions, against predefined specs.
- Develop and approve PQ protocols to confirm equipment performs properly under actual production conditions.
What You Need to Bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of hands on experience in equipment qualification, including HVAC validation, all within a regulated industry.
- Solid working knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ processes and regulatory standards like FDA and cGMP.
- Strong analytical skills, good at solving problems on the fly, and comfortable writing clear documentation.
- You're proficient with data analysis and reporting tools, and you work well with other teams.
Pay & Schedule
The pay range is $28 to $31 per hour. The role is located in Austin, TX.
