About This Role
What you'll actually do as a House Supervisor at St. David's Medical Center
You'll keep the hospital running smoothly across every department, on your shift. That means monitoring how things flow between units and making sure patients move through admission, discharge, and treatment without unnecessary delays. You're the person who steps in when other nursing managers or administrators aren't around ; you become the authority. In emergencies, you direct staff clearly and effectively.
You'll also make sure everyone follows policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. And you'll push for an exceptional patient experience ; the kind that makes this hospital a leader ; by modeling it yourself and holding your team accountable.
Working with the management team, you'll keep productivity on track and resources used wisely so patient care stays high quality without blowing past financial goals.
