The Job
You're running the show for the evening shift. Your main focus is making sure the unit operates smoothly and that every patient gets high quality, compassionate care. That means you're overseeing the day to day function, managing staffing, and holding the team accountable for clinical outcomes.
You'll be the one ensuring everyone follows established policies and regulatory standards. A big part of your role is creating a culture where accountability and transparency are just how things are done. What You'll Be Doing
- Monitoring and evaluating nursing care to support facility goals.

- Helping the unit hit internal and external benchmarks, accreditations, and designations.
- Making sure all equipment is maintained on schedule per regulatory standards.
- Assigning staff with the right clinical skills to meet patient needs.
- Leading efforts to provide an unmatched patient experience; you'll instill accountability for those positive interactions that set us apart.
- Reviewing patient feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and helping implement strategies to elevate satisfaction.
- Using various feedback tools to benchmark performance.
- Ensuring compliance with practices proven to enhance patient experience and service.
- Collaborating with other leaders and experts to foster a true teamwork environment that improves outcomes.
- Spotting development or training opportunities for both individuals and your team as a whole.
The Specifics We Need From You
- A BSN is required.
- You need at least one year of experience working in healthcare.
- You also need at least one year of experience in a supervisory role.
- A current license as a registered professional nurse (RN) is mandatory.
Certs & Timelines
A couple of certifications come with deadlines here. You've got 90 days from your start date to obtain your Neonate Resuscitate certification. And you'll need to get your Specialty Certification within 6 months of hire.
