• Credentials: You must have at least two of these current certifications from ARRT: (R), (VI), (CV), or (MRI). If you're cross training into CT or MRI/Vascular, there are timelines: ARRT (CT) certification is required within six months of your cross training start date; ARRT (VI), (CV), or (MRI) certification is required within one year.
• Required Certification: A current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through the AHA or ARC is mandatory.
• Experience: Two years of previous diagnostic experience in an acute care facility is what they're looking for. You should be familiar with most diagnostic radiology procedures.
