Maintenance Supervisor

Alright, let's get straight to it. We're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for a 165 unit apartment community in Austin, TX. This isn't just fixing things; it's about keeping a whole property running smoothly and leading the team that makes it happen.

What you'll do

You're in charge of how the property looks and functions. That means leading the maintenance staff; training them, directing their work, and keeping the team motivated.

• Walk the grounds and buildings constantly, identifying repairs or replacements needed.
• Knock out work orders for both common areas and resident apartments.
• A big part of the job is staying ahead of problems with a solid preventative maintenance plan.
• You'll troubleshoot and fix appliances.
• Getting vacant apartments turned over and ready for new residents is a key task.
• The role includes occasional on call duties.
• Creating a safe work environment for everyone is non negotiable.

What you bring

We need someone who knows their way around a toolbox and a team. You've probably been doing this for 3 to 5 years, but we care more about what you can do than just the number on your resume.

• Advanced skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair are essential.
• Experience with HVAC systems and an EPA certification would be great to have.
• A CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is also preferred.
• A valid driver's license and insurance might be required for the job.
