The Job

St. David's Hospice & Family Care is looking for a PRN Hospice Registered Nurse for Austin, TX. This is a role where your clinical skill meets real human need. You'll be part of a care team that includes physicians, nurses, therapists, hospice aides, social workers, music therapists, spiritual counselors, volunteers, and bereavement specialists. What You'll Actually Do

• Follow the plan of care, provide treatments, and collaborate with the team to help reach positive patient care outcomes
• Provide direct patient care as defined in the State Nurse Practice Act, including specialized duties related to end of life care
• Participate in coordinating hospice services and report identified needs to the interdisciplinary group ; that includes the Hospice Aide, Director of Clinical Services – Hospice, and Chaplain
• Manage pain and symptoms appropriately to keep patients comfortable

What You Need to Bring

• An Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of nursing experience ; required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 15 days of your start date
• A valid Registered Nurse license and a Driver License
• No travel required for this role
