About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this CT Tech job. It's a PRN position, which means the schedule is as needed. You'd be working day shifts across various hospital locations in the Austin, TX area, so flexibility is the name of the game.
What you'd be doing

- Administering contrast media and medications is part of the job, and you've got to do it in full compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- During scans, you're monitoring patient vital signs and activity. If something seems off, you report it right away. We also want you thinking about how to refine protocols to make care better.

The credentials are non negotiable here. You must have these before you start or within the first month.
- A BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

- If your certification is from NMTCB, you also need either their CT Specialty Certification or an ARRT(CT).
For education, it's one of these paths: a High School diploma with 2 years of relevant experience, an Associate's or Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job specific experience.
A strong preference
They're really looking for someone with at least 2 years of recent, hands on experience in both CT and X ray imaging. That recent experience matters for this role.
