About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this driving role. I've been placing drivers for over a decade, and what Trekker's got here is a specific kind of opportunity. It's not just a job; it's a lease program where you're treated as an owner operator from day one. They're pretty upfront about the model, so I will be too.
The Deal & How You Get Paid
You pick your pay structure. That's the headline.
- Option one: take 72% of the total revenue from every load.
- Option two: get $1.20 per mile, plus the fuel surcharge, and they pay on all miles.
- You can lock in your fuel cost at 99 cents a gallon.
- The weekly take home they're advertising is up to $1,877. Their top earners clear over $2,500.
- They phrase it like this: your success depends on how you run your business. They provide the tools.
The Freight & The Truck
They run a specific network designed for efficiency. It’s 93% direct with their customers, no middlemen. About 80% of loads are drop and hook. Everything is 100% no touch freight; you won't be unloading it yourself.
The lease is on newer, fuel efficient Freightliner Cascadia trucks that come with an APU already installed. Your tractor payment can start as low as $699 a week. There's no balloon payment option at the end of this lease.
What Makes This Lease Different
- There's no credit check to get into it.
- You don't need any money down to start.
- They don't charge trailer rental fees.
- It’s a walk away lease; you're not locked in for life if it isn't working out.
- A lower risk variable program exists if you know you'll need more home time than usual.
The Support Built Into It
A guaranteed maintenance program comes with the truck. If yours is in the shop, they provide a free loaner so you don't lose earning days. They have a mileage based "Skip a-Payment" feature if you hit a rough patch. And their support line is 24/7, staffed by people who've actually been in trucking.
Bonuses & Extras
- $2,000 sign on bonus when you start.
- $2,000 bonus if you refer another driver who gets hired.
- Weekly paychecks and separate safety bonuses.
- They'll help you set up an LLC properly to run your business side of things.
- The company is SAP friendly for drivers with previous program experience.
