Job Overview
This Surgical Technologist position is for a hands on professional who thrives in the operating room. You'll be an integral part of the surgical team, directly supporting surgeons and nurses to ensure procedures run smoothly and safely. Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment specific to each scheduled procedure.

- Handle specimens correctly for lab analysis and assist with patient positioning and prepping.
- Manage instrument counts before and after surgery and assist with applying dressings or casts.
- Break down the OR post procedure, ensuring proper cleaning and sterilization protocols are followed for the next case.
Requirements
- A surgical technologist diploma from an accredited program is required.
- Certification as a CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) is strongly preferred.
- You need a solid grasp of aseptic technique and familiarity with a wide range of surgical instrumentation.
- The role demands standing for long periods, lifting, and the mental focus to handle high pressure situations calmly.
- Recent graduates with clinical externship experience will be considered alongside experienced techs.
