Cargill·Atlanta, GA

About This Role

What you'll actually do

Cargill is a 160,000 person company operating in 70 countries. We make food, ingredients, agricultural solutions, and industrial products that billions of people use every single day. Our purpose is to nourish the world safely, responsibly, and sustainably. That's not just a slogan; it's the framework for every decision we make.

As a Senior Consultant in Security Solution Design at Atlanta, GA, you're the person they call when standard security patterns won't cut it. You'll work on complex or unique business problems that don't fit neatly into existing templates. This role is built for someone who's comfortable with ambiguity, genuinely enjoys talking to stakeholders, and can creatively combine existing security capabilities ; or design new ones ; to solve emerging challenges.

  • Develop cybersecurity strategies that actually align with what the business needs to protect its digital assets. You're not just writing policies; you're designing real solutions.
  • Rapidly prototype and test technology solutions on digital platforms. Make sure policies and standards are enforced properly, spot systemic compliance gaps, fix root causes, and suggest improvements.
  • Evaluate total cost of ownership and return on investment for complex IT platform options. Your analysis drives architecture decisions.
  • Advise business leaders across a medium to large portfolio of architecture services. They'll come to you for recommendations.
  • Keep deep knowledge of InfoSec's service catalog and operating model so you know exactly what internal capabilities exist to leverage.
  • Collaborate with tech teams, business units, product groups, and other cross functional partners. Gather requirements, set priorities, deliver resolutions that meet real business objectives.
  • Document your solution designs clearly ; including trade offs ; so both technical folks and non technical leaders understand exactly what's happening.
  • Define how corporate security policies get implemented using best in class industry standards. Keep everything compliant and protect Cargill's assets.

What you need

Minimum requirement: 4 years of relevant work experience. In practice, most people filling this role have 5 years or more behind them.

The exact degree or certification isn't listed here because what matters most is your ability to think strategically about security architecture in messy real world situations. If you've been designing solutions that navigate ambiguity for several years now, you're likely someone we want to talk to.

Compensation & benefits

The raw posting doesn't include specific pay numbers or benefit details beyond the Equal Opportunity Employer statement (including Disability/Veteran status). But as a senior level consultant role at Cargill in Atlanta, GA, expect typical large company packages: base salary plus bonus potential, health insurance options (medical/dental/vision), retirement savings plans (like a 401(k) with company match), paid time off including holidays and sick leave possibly separate from vacation days depending on local practices ; but none of those specific dollar amounts were provided by Cargill for this particular post at Atlanta, GA. So I'm not making anything up here; contact them directly for current compensation details if they matter most to your decision process right now.
