Nurse Supervisor

Gifted Healthcare is looking for a Nurse Supervisor to work 3x12 day shifts in Atlanta, GA. This is a contract role at a top facility that puts you in charge of coordinating care and leading the nursing team on your shift. What you'll actually do

• Oversee patient care during your shift, making sure everything runs smoothly.
• Supervise and guide the nursing staff ; answer questions, solve problems, keep things on track.
• Communicate with doctors, families, and other departments as needed.
• Handle admissions, discharges, and transfers while keeping regulatory compliance front and center.
• Jump in when a crisis hits or a tough clinical call needs a seasoned eye.
• Document thoroughly and ensure your team does the same.

What you need to bring

• A valid RN license in the state where Atlanta, GA is located.
• At least two years of recent nursing experience, with some of that in a supervisory or charge role.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification ; also current.
• Comfort with electronic medical records and the usual hospital software.
• A steady hand and a clear head when things get busy.
