HVAC Technician

Constellation's the biggest clean energy producer in the country. We're building a carbon free future, and we need people who can help power it. This is a hands on job for someone who knows HVAC systems inside and out.

What you'll do

You're the expert they call for repairs. You'll inspect, diagnose, and fix residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, along with water heaters. Everything has to be done right; safely, efficiently, and up to code.

• Perform preventative maintenance on all that gear; you'll also train others on how it's done.
• Your training continues too; you'll assist with sealed system HVAC work or advanced appliance repair.
• Talking with homeowners is a big part of the day. You explain what you did and make recommendations clearly.
• There's paperwork: service tickets, time logs, material usage. You get it all filled out.
• The schedule includes being on call for emergencies.
• You keep the company vehicle, tools, and your equipment in good shape.
• Following safety protocols and company policies isn't optional; it's how you work.

What you need to bring

We need solid experience. That means 5 years in basic HVAC service work. A mix of accredited trade school and work time that adds up to 5 years counts too.

• A valid EPA 608 Technician Certification, Type 2 or higher is required.
• All necessary State licensing has to be current.
• You've got advanced skills servicing appliances, HVAC equipment, and gas/electric water heaters.
• Clear communication matters here; both talking with customers and writing things down.
• You know how to provide good customer service.
• This role involves sales skills; recommending and promoting our services is part of the job.
• You must meet our driving standards and have a valid driver's license.
• The schedule isn't always Monday Friday; working weekends, holidays, and overtime is part of it.
