Customer Service Representative

About This Role

Alright, let's talk about this job.

You'd be a Customer Service Representative for Speedy Cash in Atlanta, GA. It's an entry level spot, but don't let that fool you. A lot of the folks running the show here started right where you'd be standing. They'll train you up from day one.

The Work

You're the face of the place. Your main job is to help people get the money they need, when they need it. That means building real connections with customers and handling their transactions carefully.

  • You'll check cash checks, process money transfers, and take customer payments.
  • A big part of your day is entering and updating customer info accurately in our computer system.
  • We want you to suggest services that actually fit what a customer is trying to do.
  • You'll make calls to help bring in new business.
  • Sometimes you'll help manage accounts by taking payments or scheduling follow ups.
  • The role might involve stepping out for things like appraising a vehicle for a loan, running store errands, or helping with local marketing.
  • Helping out at in store events or community events is part of it, too.
  • Keeping the store looking clean and professional matters for our customers.
  • You'll handle opening and closing routines, which includes managing the cash drawer and vault securely.

The Schedule & Pay

The pay starts at $16.00 per hour. The schedule isn't listed here specifically; you'd get those details during the interview process for the Atlanta, GA store.

What You Need to Bring

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. You've got to be at least 18 years old (19 if you're in Alabama). We run a background check on everyone, following state laws.

  • You need to be good with people; talking with customers and co workers professionally is everything here.
  • A sharp eye for detail is non negotiable; data entry mistakes cost us and our customers.
  • You should be comfortable using a phone, a point of sale system, Microsoft Office, and basic computer programs.
  • The job has physical demands: you're on your feet up to 90% of the time, you need to move around inside and outside the store, lift up to 25 pounds, and work a keyboard without issue.

Stuff That Gives You an Edge

  • If you've ever cashed checks, verified documents, or processed money orders before? That's huge.
  • Any past experience handling cash or managing a cash drawer puts you ahead.
  • Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus; some locations require it.
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and your own vehicle for use during work (you get paid back for mileage).

The Good Stuff They Offer

Based on what they're offering right now; benefits can change. The fine print on plan documents has all the official rules on eligibility.)
