HVAC Technician

McCarthy Services, in partnership with American Residential Services (ARS), is hiring an HVAC Technician for Arlington, VA. This is a full time position that includes evenings and required weekends.

You'll earn between $100,000 and $110,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities. A company vehicle is provided.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Install new heating and cooling equipment according to company standards
• Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
• Communicate with customers about system issues and recommended solutions
• Keep accurate records of service calls, parts used, and time spent
• Load and unload equipment and materials from the company vehicle
• Maintain a clean and organized work area both on site and in the truck
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

What you need

• At least 2 years of residential HVAC service experience
• EPA Section 608 certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Own basic hand tools for the trade
• Ability to work evenings and weekends when scheduled
• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions
