The Job

Night Warehouse Selector at US Foods. You'll build customer orders in a cold warehouse in Anchorage, AK. The work is physical, and it's fast. You'll move product all night, making sure every order is accurate and damage free. Safety comes first, always.

Pay

You'll earn between $25.25 and $32.08 an hour. On top of that, you get overtime pay and extra incentive pay based on how productive and accurate you are. Your hard work gets rewarded directly.

Schedule

Night shifts, 8 hours or more. Typically Sunday through Thursday. Weekends and holidays will be part of it sometimes ; that's the reality of food distribution.

What you'll actually do

• Select and prepare customer orders in a warehouse setting
• Operate a motorized pallet jack or similar equipment
• Lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ pounds of product, over and over
• Move over 1,000 cases of product during your shift
• Work in temperatures ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees
• Build trusting relationships with your team members on every shift

What you need to bring

• Recent experience (within the past 6 months) in a high endurance or highly physical activity ; think lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, or similar
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
• Experience operating a motorized pallet jack or similar equipment is preferred
• You're comfortable working in a multi temperature warehouse environment ; it gets hot and it gets cold
• You can handle 20 to 80+ pound lifts repeatedly, all shift long
