If you know your way around class 7 and 8 diesel trucks and like helping people get the parts they need, this job in Anchorage, AK could be a good fit. Pape' Kenworth is looking for someone to work at the parts counter, taking care of customers face to face and over the phone.

You'll be the person customers turn to when they need to keep their trucks running. That means figuring out what they need, looking up parts in our systems, and making sure they walk out with the right stuff. It's part customer service, part technical knowledge, and a lot of problem solving.

What You'll Do

• Help customers at the counter and on the phone identify what parts they need for their class 7 & 8 diesel trucks.
• Use product catalogs, software systems, and your own growing knowledge of diesel truck parts to find accurate solutions.
• Translate technical questions into concrete part numbers and recommendations.
• Build trust with customers so they keep coming back to us when something breaks or needs maintenance.
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

What You Need

• A background working at a parts counter or relevant mechanical/service experience is required.
• Basic familiarity with how parts inventory works.
• A natural drive to get things done without someone pushing you every step of the way.
• The ability to communicate clearly with customers both in person and on the phone so you can sell them what they actually need.
• Organizational skills above average ; you'll be juggling multiple requests throughout the day.

The pay starts at $30 per hour but can go higher depending on your exact experience level.
